We believe in maintaining consistent and transparent communication with you. Therefore, we are pleased to confirm you that Containerships has become CMA CGM, effective July 1, 2023.
Containerships has played a pivotal role in expanding CMA CGM’s portfolio of multimodal solutions. By incorporating this unified model into CMA CGM offerings, the Group gains access to the extensive sea, road, rail and river solutions offered by Containerships. This integration not only strengthens the Group’s multimodal capabilities but also allows for accelerated development of end-to-end solutions to meet the growing customer demand.
As part of this integration, we will from now until the end of the year gradually shift Containerships operations towards CMA CGM processes and tools. Your experience will be enhanced thanks to better digital tools, a wider range of CMA CGM services and a broader intra-European presence. Existing dedicated multimodal teams will continue to serve your needs, including door-to-door under Short Sea Line Intra North Europe (SSL Intra NEUR) department name.
We will ensure business continuity and maintain our multimodal expertise, while improving the service dedicated to our customers.
As a reminder, as of July 1, 2023, the following changes will occur:
- Services previously provided by Containerships – CMA CGM GmbH will be provided by CMA CGM S.A.
- Bills of Ladings, Way Bills and other documentation will be issued under CMA CGM S.A. as carrier
- Invoices will include new vendor details as already communicated
